ABOUT LISA COLE

Lisa is passionate about sustainable player development and coaching education programs. She has over twenty years' experience at the youth, collegiate, professional, and international levels and is well-versed in soccer operations, camps, and non-profit work. Cole has coached in both the WPS and NWSL women’s professional leagues and held numerous NCAA Division I collegiate coaching positions. Internationally, she served as head coach of the Papua New Guinea U20 Women’s National Team and hosted the 2016 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup. She currently serves as a professional scout for the Washington Spirit and as a Coach in the club's Virginia US Soccer Girls’ Development Academy program.


In addition to coaching, Lisa has performed in numerous education and technical roles.  She is the Technical Director for Centre Soccer Association and Mountain District Union located in State College, Pennsylvania and currently serves as both the Director of Goalkeeping and as a National Staff Coach for United Soccer Coaches. In this capacity, she develops the Goalkeeping Coaching curriculum and instructs the United Soccer Coaches' Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma Courses.
